Despite advertising paid early check in, which we requested at 14:00, we were told this was not available. After waiting that hour in the lobby (after a long overnight flight), upon trying to check in again at 15:00 (the kiosk did not work for this), we were told our room still was not ready, and to come back in 15 minutes. Given the size of the line for check-in, I just went back to the end of the line. After getting to the front of the line again after 15 mins, was told the room still was not ready and to repeat the process again. Finally on the 3rd time through the line, the room was ready.
The room was basic and small, but clean. We had to move around the furniture to fit our two large suitcases in. Bathroom is small, but adequate. The capsule shower is difficult to move in as a larger person.
The bed is right up against the window wall; with two people in it, one will be "trapped" at night. Mattress was thin (maybe 3 inches of padding?) and slid around with use, so that we had to keep moving it back where it was supposed to be.
The location of the hotel and its prices are perhaps its best selling points. It is convenient and walkable, with many restaurants and access to transit nearby.
For a brief barebones stay (2-3 nights) it met our needs. For a longer more comfortable stay, though, we would either choose a larger room or another place.
