“We stayed 4 nights in a room with sea view from bay window. Room was excellent, comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The whole house was spotless and freshly painted and the breakfast room was well stocked. Breakfast was superb, great eggs, and the service first class. The hosts, Owen & Margaret were very friendly and helpful and minor issues, like a non working lamp were attended to promptly. We would heartily recommend anyone to stay at this guest house. ”

“We only stayed one night but had a wonderful room with a panoramic views of St Ives. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were aware beforehand that there was no onsite parking and the only downside was finding the hotel. Although there is a post code it doesn't help. You need to park in the station car park. The hotel is then found down a flight of steps.”

“The check in is was easy.... The receptionist was so helpful and the parking was easy also. The room was a typical English B&B, small but roomy enough for the 2 of us. The shower was fantastic.... The breakfast was all that you need to start the day. Overall a great stay”

“Fabulous Room ( 214 ) with stunning uninterrupted views of the sea. Terrace Bar and the dinning experience excellent. Wanted the weekend to be a little bit special to celebrate my Wife’s Birthday and the RDH did just that.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel, could not fault it. We used the pool and spa facilities on both days of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay with you. 5* * 2 very small points - 1. the windows need a clean in the pool to see the most amazing view 2. A mattress topper on the two single beds (pushed together) to cover the join. ”

“A very comfortable hotel in a glorious location on the river at Fowey. Great river view from our room. Good continental breakfast with a paying option for a hot dish. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great few days. There is limited hotel parking which needs to be pre-booked in advance otherwise you have to park in one of the 2 main carparks. There is a bus service from the top car park which is at the top of a steep hill.”

“Amazing place for family with younger children. Our children - 8,6& 2 loved their stay here. We swam every day, attempted crabbing, played in the playground and attended all of the activities put on by the den staff. Kids loved mocktail & jewellery making and they put on a great Easter egg hunt for the kids too. They also attended the den sessions and were happy each time. The rabbit feeding was also really lovely. Only complaint really is the restaurant. Breakfast is good but dinner/lunch has……
