“Thoroughly enjoyed this property. It’s located within 35 minutes of any level hiking trail you would want to take on. It is also the perfect spot to come back to after punishing your body on those hikes for eating too much at the local establishments. We will definitely be back.”

“This was the second time we have stayed at the Carriage house. It was lovely as ever. The bird watching was fantastic and watching the deer Graze while drinking our coffee was an extra treat. We enjoyed using the fire pit at night. I would highly recommend.”

“This cabin was as warm and welcoming as it gets. Pet friendly without being too utilitarian and the host even provides a pooper scooper [there was plenty of room to walk Gracie]! There is a fully stocked kitchen and the refrigerator has an ice maker [several we have rented have not]. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. The hot tub was clean and relaxing and the outdoor area boasted plenty of seating. We especially enjoyed sitting next to the creek. Honestly, we have nothing but……

“We knew we picked an awesome house for our Thansgiving getaway. First and foremost, the view was unbelievable, you literally looked down at the lake the town and glanced up to the mountains. The home was spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We did notice the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you needed to include; crockpot, blender, mixer, also, the appliances were all up-to-date. If given the opportunity, we would love to come back and visit, we normally visit North……

“This is a nice property with some fixable issues. The main floor is really nice, having recently been renovated, with two great bedrooms , a nice living area, a kitchen, a nice bathroom and a great balcony with an awesome view. The porch is large and spacious but is in need of some repairs; a paint job and a general fixup in this area would be great, the cushions are in need of replacement. The bushes hanging over the porch need to be trimmed, this makes the first impression of this sweet home……

“My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Very cozy. AC and heat works great. Cabin was well kept, clean, and roomy. There are 2 beds upstairs, the cabin could easily fit 4. The stream next to the cabin is very peaceful. Directions are easy to follow towards the place but get ready for some crazy windy roads!!! We were celebrating my wife’s 24th birthday and the host left us an incredible happy birthday message with streamers, beads, and snacks! Incredible stay. Will be back 💜”

“This little cabin was just what we needed. We traveled to the area for a family wedding and, while our schedule was erratic, we found the place a very pleasant respite and welcoming at all hours. You have to understand that rural Georgia is going to have some gravel accesses and obscure connectors but that is part of the appeal. If you use GPS, I would recommend Google or Apple Maps as WAZE seems to think it is okay for automobiles to access the Appalachian Trail.”

“I stayed at two other rental properties before this one. What a relief when I arrived here! Ana was very helpful and communicative. Everything was clean, new and upscale. And its in the Ridges resort so there is a great environment, a wonderful place to walk, safe and the all the amenities of the resort. The large tub was awesome. I slept very well. I can think of nothing negative to say about this property - and that is a first for me! Thank you for a nice stay.”

“The property was fine for me and my 2 dogs. Although there were 2 bedrooms/baths, I only used upstairs bedroom/bath. The property is pie shaped so a bit narrow in back with creek running down left side. The hot tub was ok but cover seemed awkward since you have to fold and lift off manually and it's not the lightest. The hot tub appeared to be recently shocked so sentiment was sitting on bench and floor but water was clear and perfect temperature. The house worked for our needs, especially liked……
