“This house was a great location to gather and spend a weekend crafting together! Plenty of room for 8 and room downstairs to set up tables. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood and the house is a quick walk to the lake. No water view but all the windows and trees are beautiful enough. The only issues we had were incorrect information about the WiFi (but finally found separate notes on the mantel and fridge), the heat was hard to figure out, and the ice maker didn’t work. Otherwise, all was good and……

“We had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Villas. The owners are lovely, and you can tell how dedicated they are to making guests welcome and maintaining the property. It is reasonably priced, very close to a “pocket beach” on Christina Lake, and only a couple of minutes away from the main beach. It’s also walking distance to the Kool Treat for burgers and ice cream, and Smoochies, a wonderful bakery cafe. We were breaking up the drive from the Kootenays to Vancouver so looking for a place to touch down and facilitate some beach time before hitting the road again. “Lake view was fantastic! Excellent access to lake via private dock. Home was clean. Just a couple of small things. The kitchen could use more and nicer drinking glasses. The garbage bin outside is not bear proof and was tipped over and spread all over by a visiting bear. We ended up moving it to the top balcony so it didn't get ransacked again. I felt bad for the bears as a fed bear is eventually a dead bear. The third bedroom is pretty squishy with no room for bags and no end tables. Had a……
