“My friends and I stayed here over a long weekend for a wedding in Davenport, and we had the best time. The house is super cute, quaint, and quiet. Dane came right to our rescue when the front door lock wouldn't budge; he came over in less than five minutes and fixed it for us! He is the best. He graciously gave us a tour of the mansion and I cannot sing his praises enough. One of our friends slept on the sectional downstairs, and it is perfect for someone wanting their own room, complete with……

“This was a perfect place to stay with our dog when we came to Iowa for our son’s graduation from the University of Iowa. The fenced yard and walkable neighborhood was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed nearby Vander Veer Park also. We spent a lot of time hanging out at the house cooking and playing games, so we appreciated the spacious well-stocked kitchen! The comfortable couches, smart TV for streaming and the puzzles were also hits.”

“We were here for one night and enjoyed the property. Property was as described. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have a Keurig with a few k-cups to get the day started. Communication with manager was spot on.”

“This is a great house, very nicely renovated and furnished. Plenty of offroad parking available. The house is in what can look like a sketchy neighborhood but a lot of Davenport looks sketchy. We were told by the kids that went to college there that the neighborhood isn't actually that bad. The house has a good security alarm with cameras which was super nice to have. “We were in the QC to meet many friends for a COL. We had not seen some for years. We went toe Farmers Market across the street found some friends there as well. Walked to a little tavern Mac’s Tap we used to go to and that was great. Good food & atmosphere.”

“We had an excellent Thanksgiving stay in this quaint home right on the Mississippi river. The location couldn't have been better for us. The number of bedrooms, supplies in the kitchen, and activities for the kids inside the house were wonderful. Highly recommend this for any short or long journey to Iowa for a family or couples.”

“This was just a short weekend trip for my friend and I. It was a decent stay. It could have been a bit cleaner to my liking, but it wasn’t awful. My friend and I did end up buying a shower mat since the one in the shower/tub was a bit dirty and another pillow because the second bedroom only had two rather small ones. “This place is a cute studio apartment located right downtown, along the river. It’s right across the street from the Freight House which offers the awesome indoor farmers market on weekends. There is a nice walking path along the river. There’s the awesome baseball stadium across the street with minor league games and is home to St Ambrose baseball. Also remember the train runs along the river very frequently. And this train has a very loud and long blowing whistle. Even with the windows and……

“We were in town for our daughter’s pinning ceremony at St Ambrose so we weren’t at the rental much. It worked good for our family. Maybe I misssed it in the description, but the house sets up on a hill and there are some slopes going to the property and the stairs are a little steep. My mother usually doesn’t do steep things well since her knee replacement but she still did okay. He was great to work with and was very accommodating with anything we neeeded!!!”

“We rented this for a graduation party and it was perfect. There is a ton of space to spread out, so it didn't ever seem like we were on top of each other. Driveway is large enough to fit several cars. I had a ton of questions, and the owner was very responsive to all of them. I will definitely be a repeat guest!”
