“Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Very clean and safe place.”

“We had 4 rooms in our group that were paid at booking. 3 rooms were charged at check in and told, “it’s because Hotels.com used the wrong code”. Watching to be sure we are refunded the extra charges. Very frustrated. The manager wouldn’t even bother to speak to me in person, just over the phone. Terrible customer service by her. I certainly hope they are able to figure out the issue. Not at all comfortable with their process. I have never, in all my years utilizing Hotels.com, had this happen.”

“A weekend in McGregor IA to attend a family funeral. Our hosts were amazing from the time we booked till we left to check in w/us on our accommodations. The property is a beautiful home w/ all new amenities plus dog friendly. We had access to a full backyard for our dog plus able to grill out & sit on a private balcony to enjoy meals & overlook downtown McGregor! We highly recommend this property. “This cabin and property were a perfect choice for our fishing getaway. We were a little concerned about the available space for 4 large adults in the cabin as well as two boats and two trucks, but everything turned out great. Cabin ended up being perfect. Location to the boat ramp was really good and we were able to fit our boats and trucks at the location. “We originally thought we were renting the entire cabin but quickly realized we were renting just half of the cabin upon arriving. I will read future VRBO descriptions much more carefully next time. “It’s a cute 3 bedroom apartment. Very comfortable with lots of treats (coffee, popcorn). However, there was a lot of noise into the early morning hours from the bar across the street in the one bedroom with a window facing the street. We stayed a Friday night perhaps it’s quieter during the week.”
