“This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink). This meant a nice big tub even if it was pink from another……

“I brought my family to this vrbo for a weekend. We loved the ability to sleep all of us with the use of pull out couches and an air mattress, having 3 full bathrooms was a huge plus and the decor was perfect for the location. We even used the fireplace for a bit because of a chilly last morning. My parents and sister enjoyed the paddle boat. The kitchen appliances were all great—there’s even a coffee grinder! The one thing I’d suggest is supplying more coffee cups as well as bowls and……

“We had a fabulous time in this large lodge that was comfortable and roomy for all 18 of us! The teenagers enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table, the TV room, the sauna and jacuzzi. The kitchen is wide open. If you have a large group it can feel a bit tight when making food for 18! Plenty of seating for everyone to eat together. The property is very private and lots of trails to enjoy. We were able to go out on the lake with skates and boots. We did not have any snow so the sliding and……

“Simply delightful! Has everything you would need with beautiful views and amenities. I had to look a few times for “check-in and out” rules and procedures-abd couldn’t find any. I think common sense tells a person to treat the property as if it was your own….and have a wonderful time! Such a nice person to deal with. If this place is available for your time away-I would highly recommend to grab it-you won’t be disappointed!!!!”

“This was our second stay at The Cabin. Everything is as shown in the listing. Actually, the patio chairs are now Adirondack type. The owners are accommodating and make the rental process easy. There was a strong winter storm during our visit, but we still made use of the patio and fire pit after some shoveling. We look forward to coming back again when the lake is not frozen and we can use the pontoon and screened back porch.”

“Our Christmas gift to our adult children, their spouses and new in-laws last year was the gift of spending time together. We rented the cabin Memorial Weekend and had 10 adults ranging from 21 to 85 yrs old. We also had 2 dogs. The cabin never felt crowded and had a really cozy feel. We spent most of our day playing yard games, fishing and cruising on the pontoon. The evenings consisted of large dinners and cocktails around the large fire pit. “The cabin is cozy and adorable. Close to the lake which is beautiful. The furniture, while old fashioned, was extremely comfortable. We spent a ton of time relaxing on the red couch! Had a few minor issues. The chain in the toilet kept coming loose, causing issues with flushing, and the water pressure in the sink and shower were near nothing. It was also extremely cold in the bedroom, despite us adjusting the heat, and the portable heater in the bedroom did not work. Overall, we seriously……

“We loved our stay in Ironton. We had a wedding in Brainerd and this was a great location. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the outdoor space was so nice to relax and have a bonfire. We loved we could bring our dogs.”

“Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed the birds, seeing the work of the beavers, took the canoe out. Read books sitting on the dock. The lake is small, private and quiet. No loud jet skis and speed boats disrupting your peace and quiet. We watched two DVDs they had on site one night. What a special treat that was.
