“The place was as listed, very comfortable and quiet, easy to find and a quick drive to the beach and local town for places to eat. My friend was initially scared as there are large dogs living in the house above, but after the initial barking when we arrived, we didn’t hear them again. I would definitely come back to stay.”

“The property itself is beautiful, what I didn't appreciate is the two security guards in the foyer wearing security vests implying the area was very unsafe and then when I asked them for directions to the sports arena I needed to attend, which was only 1.2km walking distance, they told me it was too far and I wouldn't make it there safely, so I opted to drive the 3 minutes. Their words rang true as the following evening on the channel 9 news there was a report of a woman pushing her pram being……

“1) We have several occasions to book hotel rooms through the hotel.com web page. We have the experience that the quality of hotel rooms are lower if we book rooms through hotel.com. For example, the hotel room booked through hotel.com are normally (i) in lower floor level; (ii) the room normally facing street / car park, which is more noisy; (iii) locality of room is remote from the lift, which we have to walk a long distance to the room. This is the first time that gave us such impression……

“I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful spot, the cottage had all I could ask for, in a lovely garden and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is a little further out of town, I enjoyed the walk but some might prefer to travel by car. I was there for parkrun after all, which was only another 1km up the road in the Botanic gardens, so I was perfectly placed 🙂”
