“Beautiful painting when you walk in- Room was spacious and clean. Sausage on breakfast buffet was really spicy. Would have rather had regular sausage links or patties. Bathroom soap would recommend going to prefilled pump shampoo and conditioner.”

“All the employees are so very nice & helpful. Property & Rooms are very clean & well kept. Decorated so cute. Would definitely stay again!”

“Wonderful location and the outside decks are very nice. We stayed two nights, while we didn't eat dinner either night in the restaurant, we did get the most wonderful limoncello cake the first night. However, the breakfast on both mornings was nothing to be excited about. Coffee was out on the first day and the staff didn't care when told, French toast was cold, and the scones almost raw; bacon was the only redeeming item. The second morning was no better, pancakes were cold and scones still……

“The location is good. The room amenity are typical. What dissatisfied me was a $1 surcharge without a clarification. I wish there had been an explanation message. ”

“Elevator was broken BUT I was alerted & told I could cancel my reservation w/o any penalty. I stayed anyway (a couple flights of stairs was good exercize). TV did not work properly in my initial room BUT was given a better room with a good TV. Staff did their best so I will use Canfield again next time I stay in Dbq. [I've stayed in Hiltons & Hyatt's that have also had 'things' break down. What's important is how staff responds!]”

“I got into the shower, and when I went to wash my hair, the shampoo dispenser was empty. I had brought no shampoo with me, and had no one with me to get some from the hotel. I used body wash to wash my hair. Very frustrating! ”

“The room is really neat and confortable. If you come here with kids, there is a indoor pool where kids can play around. Breakfast selection is mediocre.”
