“Nice, quaint hotel. No shower curtains or partitions so showering would result in the whole toilet getting wet. Beds are big and comfortable.”

“Great location and beautiful rooms. Breakfast is included but only Chinese food. NOTE: the hotel name is not Rustic Skies and the location in any maps app is incorrect. The correct name in English is: Xiangye Listen To The Rain. Best way is to go to a shop or hotel nearby and ask them to call the hotel so they can come to pick you up. ”

“The best service ever had in China !! I was ill when I checked. The hotel did not serve dinner. The staff went to kitchen and made the congee personally when she realised I was ill and could not went out for dinner. She even refused the tips I gave her. She said this is what she is supposed to do for her guests. She went extra miles to ensure the guests enjoy the stay in the hotel. Very touching.. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends who will visit Shangri-la. ”

“我們入住的是藏式風情景觀大床房 整體整潔乾淨，設計幽雅，既在古城內，又清靜。 可惜房間所謂的「景觀」只是望著庭院及人來人往的樓梯。如果想望景，同時要接受別人觀望自己的房間。最糟糕的是，房內除了廁所的抽氣扇，完全沒有通風系統，在適應高山反應的同時，房間的悶焗令晚晚睡眠質素極差。若然要開窗，便等於在公共樓梯附近開著門睡覺，感覺極不安全。早餐是簡單的白粥素菜，味道不好。而且價錢比一般貴一倍，極不建議入住。”
