“Very nice clean cabin set back from main roads. Quiet with the only the sound of the small stream next to cabin. Set back from main road about a mile, but easy access.”

“Our family enjoyed our peaceful stay in Slaty Fork during the shoulder season. The home was impeccably clean and appointed. The information packet was jam-packed with useful bits. If we were to come back for skiing or downhill racing, I would stay there–absolutely.”

“My wife and I live in Pennsylvania and we had never before vacation in West Virginia. Although it was a 7 Hour Dr. from our home to Marlington, we stayed in a very lovely small log cabin with solar power, and propane. The property was clean very well appointed, all linens and towels were provided for us. If I had to say one thing, I would ask they they get a slightly larger refrigerator. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and I would love to have gotten an ice cream cake. , all linens and……

“I went there to propose to my now fiancé, the plan was for friends and family to arrive first and by the time I proposed on the mountain our friends to be waiting to surprise her. The staff was super accommodating with an early check in and the place was great, very large and ski on ski off from western territories. Highly recommend if you're there with a large group.”

“We really enjoyed this space Since it was "off season", there were hardly any people around, and we had the hot tub all to ourselves every time we went down to use it. LOVE that the windows had screens in them so we could enjoy that fresh mountain air! We will be back again next year!”

“My family enjoyed the stay. The first bed room is very good size. The 2nd one is bit small, no closet. It is very clean. We stayed there comfortably. It may need few more pieces of eating utensils. We stayed the first week of March. The snow was melting. It was good to have a swimming pool and hot tub.”

“We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“The stay was ok. It was pur first visit to this hotel. We understand they are still remodeling & getting everything in place. There was no breakfast and no outdoor patio as shown on website. The bathroom in our room was extremely small but it functioned. The updates were great but i think the layout of our room was difficult to maneuver but that is just my preference. There were no instructions in the room about emergency exits, maps, no info on area, no guide about the tv. The tv service was……

“Stay was great, but the Eco Friendly crap has gotten out of hand! I’m sure they are under pressure to comply with the environmentalists. One small bar of soap, and three small bottles of conditioner, shampoo, and conditioner (1 each) is silly!”
