"Reehorst is always friendly and reliable. I only stay here for work so I can't comment on anything other than the basics of checking in, out, quality of room, etc. The only thing I would say is that while breakfast is absolutely fine, it's expensive for what you get."

Towels all bar one were taken and not replaced, glasses and cups were neither cleaned nor replaced, facial tissues, drinks etc were not replenished. "I love almost everything about this hotel. It has a beautiful wellness centre, a great gym, a very good restaurant and a really comfortable, funky lobby. As a regular stayer with you over the last decade and as someone staying for 6 nights I was disappointed to have such a small lift and I couldn't open my suitcase without lifting it up on to the bed each time. "Excellent for young kids and families. Our chalet was next to the woods and very quiet. Large soft play, outdoor pool, kids club, kids activities and playgrounds suited our age 6 and 2 grandkids. Used the restaurant one night and pizza takeaway another. Would definitely go again"

"We arrived looking to park the car in teeming rain. Upon entering the rear of the hotel we thought what have we booked here! Checking in at reception the place was full to the brim. The guy who checked me in explaining there was a bird show on in the rear of the hotel. There was parking at the rear of the hotel, and going out of the front of the hotel saw it was well placed for shopping, bars etc. We had a lovely meal and the service was excellent. Breakfast was even better. Hotel a bit shabby...
