“Excellent property very quiet and peaceful...perfect!”

“This house was perfect for our stay. Every bed was filled but the house is so spacious it never felt too crowded. Each bedroom and bathroom was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and the house is in a good location. We were able to walk to a coffee shop on the corner, which we enjoyed. Plenty of street parking for everyone - it was never an issue. Had to reach out to the property manager once for a question and he reponded very quickly and was able to help us. Finally, the……

“It was advertised as a 2 bedroom house that you have the whole house to yourself. When arrived it was occupied and would have to share with 2 other people. Me and my wife were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We didn't think we would have to share the house with someone else. The host was nice but we didn't feel comfortable staying the night there. ”

“Loved this property. The property owner was very gracious and attentive to us. The house was wonderful..a beautiful rental. It had everything we needed. I fell in love with the design and decor. Loved it. We were all very comfortable. It is exactly as described in the photos. It is cozy, warm, and inviting. Extremely clean and everything was perfect taste. “Recital weekend at Averrett University, house was only a 5 minute walk from the venue. House was as described, we had plenty of room for getting ready and the house was beautifully lit at night when we returned. Would recommend if needing something close to the University, however parking is very limited to 2 vehicles only!”

“Jen was soooo friendly and easy to work with! We loved the property. We didn't get to spend much time there, because we were there for a wedding, but the outside amenities were just perfect! Would highly recommend this rental!!”

“The only issue we had was that when we arrived it was extremely hot in the home and the air conditioners (window units) were also on. When we tried to turn the heat down, the thermostat was locked. I went back and forth with the property owner and he finally unlocked the thermostat remotely so we could adjust it. I've never experienced that before. ”

“It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!”

“We booked this house to attend what turned out to be a horrible festival called blueridge rock festival. While our festival had issues our rental did not! Our rental had plenty of space for us to invite friends over , bake a lasagna and play some card games together which helped salvage our trip. The home was very spacious, had a lot of nice touches such as a variety of Board games, extra dishes and cookware ect. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy! 10/10 would recommend.”

“The house is very clean in a quiet neighborhood. A cute home to stay in and relax. We sit by the fire pit outside and had smores with the kit the owner had supplied for us, a very nice touch. We also roasted hot dog's with the family. The farmhouse chic style is very nice. Played games with our boys on the big dinning room table! A short drive to hyperfest, we enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂”
