"I liked how safe the building felt. I needed a code to get into the main building and into my room. I also enjoyed getting a free muffin and cup of tea (because I don't drink coffee) at the Northern Grounds coffee shop right down the street."

"Very beautiful scenery from the hotel! Very friendly staff! A little outdated and in need of repairs. Counter around sink was cracked and outdated carpeting! Beds were very comfortable!!! Restaurant was good and convenient!"

"I came with my best friend to celebrate her 60th b-day. The cabin was spectacular & had everything we needed,(the loft was huge w/ BA, hosts were top notch-communicating quickly & guiding us to attractions/restaurants that we desired. Each AM we enjoyed coffee on the patio soaking in ONLY the sounds ..."

Gorgeous nature retreat
"We felt like we are living in the middle of a lush and beautiful forest.We loved canoeing in the lake and bay, and we’re delighted to see and hear Trumpeter Swans, loons, beavers, and barred owls. The cabin was cozy and we appreciated the full kitchen. Gary was accommodating in every way."

Oct 24, 2019Ely was awesome! I haven't been there in over 40 years. There was so much more there than I imagined there would be! I loved the shopping, the museums, and the art galleries. It's a really cool place.
