“Family and I had a great week staying at the cabin and enjoying both sides of glacier. We knocked out all the hikes we planned the first few days so we’re able to hang out and enjoy the cabin and some local trails on our last day. Cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for when we planned our trip and we would stay here again on future trips.”

“Quiet cabin right on Route 2 between West and East Glacier. Nicely secluded from the crowds inside the park. Loved the decor and amenities! I was concerned that the trains or road noise would be too loud but this was entirely untrue. The trains were charming and the road noise was negligible. I’d love to stay here again in a future visit to the park”

“We had three families staying here and everyone loved it!! All the couples had a double bed room and the kids each had a bed. The bunks in the basement are actually full size so they fit two kids on each, no problem. The back porch was our favorite spot for meals and coffee. The house is 30 minutes from glaciers west entrance. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need - even a roasting pan and cookie cutters! We had an issue with the ice maker in the freezer not working so water wouldn’t……

“If you are visiting Glacier National Park this is an ideal location for the start of your adventures. Located half way between the West and East entrances of the park makes for a great spot for all the hikes and drives. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Situated right on the Middle Branch of the Flathead River with NP land across the river from you gives you peace and tranquility after a day's hike. My husband fly fished every late afternoon/evening with much success. No neighbors, no noise,……

“Two couples enjoyed our three nights on this property. Quiet and peaceful! The place was clean and came as advertised. Great experience. We did ask the owner to check the coffee maker. It made coffee but was very slow. The property gives access to both the West Glacier and St Mary entrances to Glacier NP. We discovered the St Mary entrance was less congested than West Glacier, so appreciated the flexibility to use either entrance.”

“ The cabin had good space in the kitchen, bath and other common areas plus the bedrooms. Livingroom was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Laundry area and deep tub in bathroom were a bonus! Would definitely stay again!”

“We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! There was plenty of room for the two of us and it had everything we needed for the week. We basically did a lot of day hiking in the Natl Park so we would get up early and get home late, but it was so nice to come home to a hot shower, cook a hot meal in the full kitchen and prepare for the next days hike. Then we would watch a movie and then zonk out in the comfortable bed. The train and highway noise were not really a problem. Sure you could hear it but……

“I have been visiting the Izaak Walton for most of my life and each time is special. Yes it might be an older building and have occasional problems related to age but the inn is possibly the most unique in all of Montana. The staff are always top notch and professional and the location is amazing! ”

“The online listing shows a dome with a transparent roof and so, when we booked this space, we expected to enjoy the clear night skies of Montana through this roof. We imagined lying in bed, swaying to the rythm of the forest, staring at the sky! What we got though, was a cold, opaque dome with not an iota of warmth or views. The circular shape of the dome makes the bed arrangement strange so one person is sleeping too close to the wall of the dome. The slippery mattress or the swaying of the……
