“It was a pleasant experience. I happened to be staying there when hurricane Sally hit. My room stayed fine. However, the lobby was damaged by the winds and rain, lost power and water. The staff and manager on hand were excellent. They didn’t act frazzled or anxious. They took care of matters and us guests. I really enjoyed the history of the hotel, too. ”

“Lakeside Inn is a step into the past. It is Charming! The area is great for dining and shopping. A great spot for a girls weekend or wedding. The landscaping around the property is Very well maintained.”
