"We had a great stay at this cabin! My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience."

"We found the place very comfortable and cozy! It is about a 10 minute drive to old forge which is so convenient to skiing and hiking. We visit the area frequently and are fortunate to find this place which had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the house is spacious and inviting. "My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. "The property is very nice and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the heated plunge pool many times during our stay. Kris was very responsive to any of our questions. The property is located within a few miles of numerous hikes. "Our stay was just what we hoped for!! Plenty of room for our large family. Loved the quiet secluded backyard. We lost power one night, Because of the weather. "We came here for a few days during the solar eclipse. Melissa and scott, the care talkers, were very sweet and attentive. A car accident had actually knocked out power to the whole town just before we showed up, but the place has a generator so we still had everything! cabin is a10 minute walk from town which was really fun to explore! We saw a mama and baby deer in the back yard on day 1. The kids (9 &14) could not get enough of the Foosball table and the adults discover the ring & hook game on...
