Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic.”

“very cute, rustic fro sure. cabana for instance has no doors, the cabin is enclosed but really only has the one very large bed. my one major note is the cabin doorknob locked us out multiple times, we made a rule to keep the key outside for our stay but could cause a large issues if they don’t have a spare on the property.”

“Nice private cottage in a great location. Had all the amenities required and we loved the hot tub. As mentioned before in some of other reviews it’s needs a deep clean, windows, curtains washed etc to make it shine. Garden around house need to be tidied up and trimmed up a bit to make it feel more loved.”

“We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. There was zero water coming out of the top floor bathrooms sink, and the bath trickled water - so it took 45 minutes to fill it if you wanted to use it. I informed management via……

“Cute and quaint, cozy little retreat in the woods. Lots of bird songs to hear, but note that sounds of nearby road are also noticeable. Enjoyed a few good movies as there is an interesting selection of dvds. It is perfectly relaxing; don't forget your bubblebath!”

“Our stay was great at the backpackers B&B on salt spring island. The location is great, very central and close to town. The B&B is brand new, the bedding is clean and the shared spaces are big. Beautiful property, with an adult slide in the back.”

“We went on a spur of the moment cycling trip to Salt Spring Island. The hills were tough but at the end of that error in judgment was the gem that is Hummingbird B&B. Highly recommended accomodations for those impulsive cyclists out there when Salt Spring Island beckons. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality. Everything went off without a hitch.”

“While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. That said, it was peaceful, quiet and calm. ”

“We enjoyed our night in this unusual B&B. Backpacking season hasn't really started yet, so we had the place to ourselves. There are 2 rooms with 4 bunks each, and 1 room with 6 bunks. You need to book each bed seperately. There is a shared bathroom. It would be excellent for a bunch of frends to gather, or for individuals looking to meet fellow backpackers. The host was very helpful, responding to our questions right away.”

“Weatherly was amazing from start to finish. Stephanie was a gracious host and an amazing cook. Fresh bread and cinnamon buns for breakfast along with fresh fruit, yogurt, lattes, and so much more. The pool was warm and inviting, the hot tub was welcome after a day of hiking, and there were spacious grounds to admire and walk in. The bed was great as was the shower pressure. We also had a soaker tub in our room and a fireplace. The wake-up knock with latte at the time we selected before……
