“We booked this stay because of proximity to a multiple wedding events in the area for a long weekend. There are 6 people in our family including 2 children (6yo & 2yo) so we looked for a large space and had some perks for kids. Check in was smooth. The key code worked on the front door and we had no issues. The property instructions were to park in the rear facing driveway, which has no keypad so every time we left or arrived someone had to lock the back and go to the front which is mostly just……

“Prior to arriving the host had the house nicely cooled. It was an awesome stay felt like a home vs a rental. My family of 8 and pet enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood had easy access to stores and restaurants. The home was in a nice neighborhood. The home was clean and met all our needs would rent again. “We were planning to bring our family of 5, but the kids were busy. The house was perfect for just the 2 of us for a quick 3 night stay. I wish a little more detail was paid to smaller details and supplies. The broom was broken, the mop had no solution or extra pads. When we took the trash out we couldn’t find any trash bags. And I pulled out the couch to sweep when I noticed it was dirty underneath. I found pieces of the chess set from the coffee table, old chapstick and an empty can of pepper……

“I just stayed at this Garland property with my kids (8 and 12) and my mother (77). It was a perfect spot for all of us! My mom has mobility issues and was able to easily navigate the home and use the step-in shower. The pool was heated so nicely she was even able to use that and we made great memories swimming with my kiddos. “The stay wasn’t bad at all , but you must be very quiet because it’s a duplex and the neighbors complain. We wasn’t at the house and received a complaint while we were gone. The only noise we made was playing music on our iPhone ( not speakers or surround sound) but a phone. But the landlord did communicate very well with us on the complaint.”

“The overall stay was nice, but it's quite apparent this house needs a little TLC. We noticed a lot of DIY that could have been done better, but functionally is not a problem. The rooms and beds were nice, but tile in the bathrooms are a death trap when wet. The main complaint was the smell of moth balls as you enter the property. The odor is strong and did not go away all weekend. The place is spacious and has plenty of areas to hang out in.”

“Needed a place for my family to stay for a family funeral weekend. Not many hotel options in Garland - this house worked great. The house was clean and overall had no real issues. Good quality sheets and towels. We didn’t utilize the pool because it was cold but it was nice to have a garage. A couple notes - the beds are very low to the ground so if you have older folks in your group that is a consideration.
