“This is by far one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. And, we probably had the best room there! Second floor, all the way at the end, you could see the Jenny Wade house out the window! The bed was so comfy. The room was so clean. Food and tourist spots are within walking distance. They even let us park there before we checked in. The breakfast was very tasty. This is definitely where we’ll stay when we come back!”

“Staying on the second floor I didn’t like that the lights for the front drive shown straight into room and no dark curtains to keep light out. Also the heater leaked water all over the carpet. It was very quiet and clean though. ”

“Comfortable room, about what the price point would indicate. I did NOT like that the hotel room door was left propped open (as were other doors to rooms on my hallway, I noticed). I guess the staff does this to indicate the room is clean and empty, but anyone could have been in there!!!! The hotel Really ought to look into this and stop this unsafe practice immediately. ”

“I have stayed at the Colton Motel on several occasions. It is an older Motel, but they do keep it very clean, and everything works as it should. I feel safe there and you are able to walk to many attractions in Gettysburg along Steinwehr Ave. There are several dining options nearby, which make it an ideal place to stay. ”
