“We had a 2 night stay at this motel. Nicely renovated suites, with great showers. However we were told by a staff member that there was no cable box on the TV and we can only stream shows. This was a bit annoying, so us hockey fans had to find another place to watch the hockey game. Upon check out though, a staff member tells us, that's not right, all rooms have a cable box. So it was a small thing and it worked out fine for us, but misinformation from a staff member is not good. Also, a staple……

“Great location right next to the beach. For a motor inn we were pleasantly surprised that the interior looked nicer than the outside. Staff were friendly upon check in and had great recommendations. Only downfalls in our room were electrical issues. Our personal drying wouldn’t turn on in any of the plugs (this could of been an issue with our dryer but it worked fine at home), we had to plug in our lamps (which the only outlet available by the beds was blocked by the headboards screwed into……

“This is a fantastic unique spot, with many things to do and a great Italian restaurant. We liked the cozy tents. A couple of things were concerning. We did notice, that many of the tents were left open, unoccupied and the bedding had been used. Since it's the end of the season, they may have let some workers go, so they are not bothering to clean up right away. It was a bit strange. “This place is absolutely amazing and super quiet. We chose the Casablanca room overlooking the water and saw seals and eagles during our stay. The use of the canoe was great and we really enjoyed the hot tub and steam room.”

“The only issue was the weather related power outage which did not really allow us to use any of amenities. I am confident it would've been much more fun if we had electricity given the set up/provided amenities. I am not sure if a back up generator is standard/required or not but that was the only issue. ”

“The room was exactly as promised - roomy, comfortable, and with a well-equipped kitchenette. It had a separate entrance (shared with other rental rooms) from the owners. And the owners were friendly and available if needed. For those with disabilities - there are a lot of stairs, so this might not be for you. For everyone else, definitely recommended.”

Everything you could possibly need including keurig coffe maker, air fryer, and bbq, plus so many nice touches like a fruit bowl with chips, popcorn, and chocolates, pop in the fridge, and blankets for sitting out in the comfy chairs watching the orcas.
