“1. This is camping in the back hills. Worth the trip. It is as advertised. bring your own blankets and food that can be warmed on a wood stove. 2. The area had a recent fire but is recovering nicely. 3. the camp itself is worth the trip 4. Communication from expedia to vrbo to Dan Sasquach was severely lacking. ”

“The cabin was the perfect place for our family getaway for the weekend. What a wonderful, comfortable, and peaceful way to spend our time together enjoying the scenery and each other. The cabin was was appointed and the beds were comfortable. The setting is unparalleled. We will be back as soon as we can and often. Thank you for giving us the chance to create this memory”

“We used the cabin as a launching pad to explore the Redwoods, and its proximity to Stout Grove was wonderful. We filled all 6 available sleeping places as a family. Space was tight but there were many comforts that made the space enjoyable: homemade cookies upon arrival, lots of blankets and extra pillows, and wonderful smelling hand soap in the bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and Bridget had bottled water in a jug in the fridge, too. A few more mats at the front and back door entrances……

“As long as you set your expectations to truly camping in a tree house you won't be let down! The directions were so helpful, we had a bit of confusion about where to park, and it is a cold water only place. But it was such a treat to camp in a tree house, to take the dirt roads and truly be off the grid, and the cold water added to the experience. We were charmed by the mosaics all over the farm, and my children still talk about the sweet dogs that stuck by our sides the whole time. We will……

“We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts. “The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. ”

Full amenities including a washer and dryer, air fryer, coffee maker, cooking utensils, two smart TVs (local channels wouldn't come through but they had streaming services you could log into with your own account), and plenty of comfortable seating, along with a wonderful king sized bed. The only potential downside was that the neighbors downstairs were pretty loud and their kids screamed and whined and cried a lot...I think that's something that can't really be……
