“This was the first time that the place we'd booked turned out to be even more beautiful and spacious than it appeared in the photos! A 10 minute walk from a gorgeous beach, mobile grocery delivery, a lovely coffee shop down the road, a sustainable local stall in the other direction, just steps from the cottage, with a view of a beautiful mountain and bay from the living room and kitchen. This house has just about every amenity and extra you could want. Thank you for a brilliant stay, and we look……

“Property is comfortable. Best feature is the front seating area with relaxing chairs and very cozy. We had a regular visitor of a young red deer stag. Air chair deer watching.”

“Where do I start? I guess first, the location, at the very north of Skye. Peaceful, serene, evenings with nary a sound but the sheep bleating in the distance. Second, the lovely Lorraine, who left us a hand written note on our arrival and baked us shortbread cookies to start our full day on Skye (during which my daughter became engaged at Neist Point). Third, the lovely remodeled Croft house, perfectly appointed and perfect for our every need. A truly exceptional experience for us in every way.……

“We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“This was our second holiday at this cosy, homely cottage. Mairi is so thoughtful - everything was provided, and there was also a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. Beds are very comfortable, and this location is incredibly quiet, so you are guaranteed a perfect night's sleep. The wildlife on Lewis is amazing - this year we actually watched Black-throated Divers courting on the loch whilst sat at the dining table, and then 3 Cuckoos in a chase around the trees in the front garden, plus……
