“This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. You can hear the ocean at all times. We always like a oceanfront view and although this wasn't an oceanfront view.……

“My siblings and I spent a weekend at this cottage for our annual trip. It was extremely clean and we had no issues upon check-in; the entire process was seamless and easy. This was my first Vrbo rental, and I was well pleased and would recommend this cute nostalgic cottage for other visitors to Nags Head. “Even though it rained several of the days, we still enjoyed the ocean from our balcony on the second floor and did some Kitty Hawk exploring. And there were so many close excellent recusants to chose from for dinning. The place was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils etc... But didn't realize there was an elevator until the 2nd day but was so grateful for it being on the 2nd floor. Only improvement would be that someone would have been in the office, which was closed due to short……

“The stay was great even though the weather wasn’t the best. The house was nice and the location was great. There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed such as a loose board on the deck and the shower curtain rod needs to be permanently attached so it doesn’t fall on someone else’s head. We would stay here again on our next trip to the Outher Banks if it was available.”

“Our stay way excellent. While the property is not on the water, access to the beach is a very close. The property was clean and their bed was really comfortable. The water was a little too cold to enjoy swimming without a wetsuit. Also, due to a western wind bringing some bitting flies it prevented hanging out at the beach.
