“Great breakfast”

“This old farmhouse is beautifully renovated inside and very comfortable...an excellent place for a small family stay. The surrounding trees and underbrush create a private green space, while close to the main road, Collingwood and nearby stores and restaurants. The decks and porches are in need of updating and repair. It rained while we were there, so not much time outside anyway. The property is large and fun for children but needs gardening attention. “Too old fashioned, cold, bathrooms tiny and ceilings very low so it got incredibly hot. Location was good for skiing. ”

“The "suite" was clean and the bed was comfortable. The male host extremely helpful. We booked the "suite" because the description said "separate sitting area" and this was very important to us. Sadly the sitting area was on a deck outside. Not very useful on a rainy October day! The room itself is not 450 square foot so we presume the deck is included. Nice sized bathroom. No chair to sit in for reading or tv viewing. ”

“A great place for gathering and hanging out. Not fancy or pretentious. Loved the deck looking out over the countryside, the big kitchen where everyone tends to gather. Lots of good walking options. We managed to sleep 11 but not everyone gets a private room, which worked for us. We were also okay with the one full bathroom but that does require some coordination if you are a big group. The host is great at communicating and very helpful - thanks Jay. Overall a wonderful family sojourn away for……

“What an amazing spot right on the water. The property is huge and very private. The water is perfect for swimming right off the dock and there is lots of room for boat parking. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is spotless!!!! The kitchen is so well stocked and there is a ton of space to make your meals. Cozy bedrooms and so much space to relax indoors. But with such an amazing outside space - I highly doubt you will stay inside. Big outside table for eating and the bbq……
