“It was nice and clean ”

“We had a wonderful stay and enthusiastically recommend staying here. Clean, quiet and comfortable . Beautiful riverside Inn, great breakfast. We will be back. Ice, vending could be improved on, a hot tub on back deck would have made it a 5 star. We wil be back. ”

“The couch is outdated and the seat covers are cracked, but the bed and bathroom are clean. There is no way to fully close the curtains and there is a parking lot right across the street. I wish there was a listing of channels so I didn’t have to keep clicking to find local channels, etc. It seems to be in a relatively safe area and close to lots of businesses. ”

“We have stayed at you Hotel previously and enjoyed it this time just as much as our last visit. The only disappointing factor was not having a restaurants on the premises. We loved the Mexican restaurant that used to be there. We hope the new restaurant will be properly staffed and functioning soon. ”

“Everything was fine, the pillows are great and the bed didnt hurt my back (my back hurts after sleeping on most hotel mattresses). Staff was friendly, the hotel is older but clean and tidy. I especially liked the large nature photos in the room. the fridge was a nice addition and there is a small microwave too.”

“The lady we had a check in was fantastic! Supper friendly and welcoming to the building. Answered questions about the area. Our check out day- We asked for an hour later for check out and was told they didn’t have enough people checking out and late check outs are for members only. Also house keeping you be upset if we didn’t leave on time. ”

“It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch..”

“we loved the Emory House. The hosts are wonderfully gracious and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the koi pond and the log cabin in the back. Great place to stay!”

“Should not charge more for additional people on 3 bedroom unless it hits 6 people on 3 bedroom house. Other than that loved place. Clean, no WiFi, phone service is very low unless standing outside. Driveway is sloped. View is awesome from deck.”

“Place is super clean and has everything too need for a weekend visit. Owner quick to respond and allowed us to check in early. One block off Main Street so we walked everywhere”

“This was the perfect place for me and my family. The accommodations were as described and the peace and serenity of the view and critters were an added bonus. We enjoyed playing board games and enjoying one anothers company. The only negative was no wifi password was available, but that lent itself well to more family time, so not a major issue and possibly something I overlooked. We loved it and look forward to the next visit!”
