“The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river……

The cottage itself, the amenities, host, and location were all great. “My partner and I absolutely loved Brook Cottage. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The cottage is warm, cozy, and very clean. The location couldn’t be better- we’d walk to the market and bakery everyday. We enjoyed cooking more than going out. Judy and Chelsea were attentive and easy to communicate with. We were able to really unplug and slow down, we had an absolutely wonderful stay.”

“Our family of 3 had a fantastic time staying at Laurie’s cabin. It was clean, spacious, and the setting is gorgeous. Hanging around the fire pit was a definite highlight for us. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated (lots of hooks!) and had everything we needed for our stay. Laurie was a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, had great recs for hikes and dining and even made sure we knew about a local fireworks show! We would definitely recommend this……
