Beautiful Location, but needs lots of updating/cleaning
The location of this condo is great, but there are many things that need to be addressed. Cleanliness, updating and maintenance of listed amenities should be corrected.
There were real issues with the lock box AND door locks. Both made it very difficult to enter the rental, delaying us. The lock box and both door locks should be replaced ASAP. The place seemed clean initially, but quickly noticed many things that need to be cleaned better. The baseboards are really dirty, there is calcification around the downstairs sink, the kitchen drawers are full of food crumbs and we washed absolutely everything we used by hand before using. The kitchen trash can lid is filthy and needs to be replaced. The laundry area, which is located under the stairs in the study/office space needs complete cleaning. There is random junk in there and a TON of spiders. All of the appliances worked, however the dishwasher needs an update as it's from the 70's and very dirty. The stereo didn't work, there were maybe 10 light bulbs that need to be replaced as they don't work and there are no paddles for the kayak, which is listed as an amenity. TP, paper towels and bath towels all lowest quality. The owners need to do some serious cleaning and purging of items in this house. There is fine china, silver and hundreds of books as well as way too many personal items stuffed everywhere. Furniture needs updating after a major renovation done. Patio is the only area we had no issues with. Very nice view.
