“Cozy little static caravan. Everything was clean and tidy. Fully equipped kitchen, towels in each room. It's one double bed and two single beds in three rooms. Roma are comfortable but small, so if you are a tall person you will struggle. 15 minutes walk from Fort Augustus. Quiet location. ”

I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well! ”

“Stayed in the cabins. They were amazing! Full kitchen and little dining area and couch with a coffee table. Very nice bathroom with large shower and extremely comfortable bed! Best night sleep I had on my trip! Also the restaurant there is really fabulous! And it’s just a quick 10 minute walk to the grocery store and cute shops! Great location and will definitely stay there again. :)”

“If only the owners would listen to the customer feedback from previous guests! All the same niggling issues stop this from getting g a 5 star rating. Dirty pots and pans, a central heating system that needed to be rebooted constantly, poor level of cleaning generally, all have been commented on by previous guests!”

“We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!……

“Das Haus ist zauberhaft und durchdacht. Das EG großzügig und Licht durchflutet mit riesiger Küche. Oben 2 Zimmer mit Dachschrägen. Das Zimmer mit dem großen Bett hat ein gefangenes Duschbad mit niedriger (180cm) , schmaler, angeschrägter Zugangstür. Als 2m-Meter-Mann kommt die Duschhöhe ans Limit. Ergänzend ein weiteres Bad mit Badewanne. Die direkte Lage am Loch phantastisch ( nur getrennt durch eine Straße, direkt gg. der Isle of Skye) und das Dorf sehr schön. Ca. 30 Minuten zu relevanten……

“Tolle Lage bei Fort William direkt an der Glenfinnan Eisenbahnstrecke. Man kann den Harry-Potter-Zug zweimal am Tag vorbeifahren sehen. Liebenswürdige Hauswirtin. Einfache Ferienwohnung.”

“Really great place! The Highland Club is beautiful with lots to do. We loved Moat House 1. Comfy beds, great shower and bathtub. Nice sitting room upstairs and kitchen is pretty and updated. The kids (15, 19 & 21) all loved it! The cloisters were beautiful and the whole area is just great! I really recommend it!”

“We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. The view looks like a moving painting. I have never seen so many stars in the sky. We went to bed before 9 and slept till 7 like a baby. We lived the history of……

“Very nice location in the middle of the Highlands. Be aware that like most of the Highlands, there is not much in terms of places to eat. The hotel sent me an email asking if we wanted reservations for breakfast and dinner, but did not specify the hours of operation. I asked them via email, they did not respond. Like most places here, old buildings do not have elevators/lifts.”
