“The yurt is perfect, with all the amenities for a relaxed stay in nature. The owners have provided all the access to power, water, heating to make it like a well appointed hotel room, but in the country and with windows all around. I could happily watch the sky through the skylight for hours.”

“Place was very nice and comfortable. The only issue we had was figuring out the heating system, as we tend to like it a bit cooler. Beautiful location and very convenient getting to Giant's Ridge ski area and into Biwabik.”

“Despite the cool rainy day, we had a cozy little cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The hot tub was a nice too. Great for a glamping experience. The house is really close but inside the cabin you would never know it.”

“Charming, rustic property. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Fireplace heats the house very well. We didn't need baseboard heat (or we could have skipped the fire). Loved the sauna. So happy to not have access to WiFi. Comfy beds. Awesome hosts. -- responded quickly to a question and were very friendly. Loved the sounds of frogs and birds, and the stars were beautiful.”

“Really enjoyed our stay. A good, central location for what we needed. Basic amenities (pots/pans, oil, coffee, towels, etc.). Wanted to use the hot tub, but never got to it. Will do that next time!”

“We had a crew from a few places over Minnesota meet up for a race weekend at Giant's Ridge. We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. The home was clean and Kris was so accommodating!”

“The area around this house is part old commercial and part empty and dilapidated. I was traveling alone and felt I was in an unsafe area. The house was secure with good locks though. The first night the occupied house next door had a consistent banging on the door at 3 am and woke me up. The next 2 nights were without incident. Overall I liked the place for its cleanliness and updated bath and kitchen. Having streaming TV’s was very nice. I would stay here again if back in town. ”

“The Villa is beautiful with a nice layout that will accommodate a multigenerational group well. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There is a great view of the lake out the back windows and it's located minutes from Giants Ridge Ski Resort. We will definitely try to come back.”
