“Our second Christmas at this cabin! We brought our tree, lights, presents, and enough food to last us several days. Because there was no snow and we found slushy ice on Gegoka, we drove to nearby hiking trails—all lovely. The kitchen is well-provisioned with spices, herbs, pots and pans and the bookshelves are loaded with terrific wildlife resource books. This cabin has one of the best wood stoves we’ve experienced. Despite gloomy, rainy days, we had a good stay!”

“Everything was beyond perfect! Marvelous view through extra large windows, luxurious beds and linens, brand new feeling to everything, gourmet kitchen which we took full advantage of! We ended up getting snowed/sleeted in, so no skiing or hiking, but what a perfect place to spend 48 hours with beloved friends and family celebrating a 70th birthday. “We rented the lodge to celebrate our union ceremony and were absolutely blown away by the lodge. The pictures really do not do this gem service, it’s all the better in person. Family was breath taken by the river view and the splendor of the lodge. With 16 people it felt absolutely comfortable and not in any way crowded. The stay blew our expectations away! It was the north shore location of my dreams.”
