“Very nice house with lots of room and activities. Peaceful location but close to town.”

“We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed.……

“We went to escape city life and experience a little country living and boy did this place deliver. Baby goats and free range chickens and kind hosts made this weekend getaway just what we needed. Additionally my daughter accidentally left her beloved stuffed animal behind and the host offered to mail it to us when they found it. Highly recommend.”

“Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.”

“We had a get together for a friends weekend at this place. Lots of sleeping areas for a large group, great outdoor deck and yard area for being outside, and prime location to walk downtown and enjoy Ellicottville!”

“I went with a group of 16 and we had an amazing stay! It is located on a quiet street about 5 minutes from town. We had a handful of out of town folks who were driving in the dark and they found the house with ease. The place was very clean with plenty of room for our entire group. The host, Amy was quick to respond and made sure we were in complete comfort during our stay! I highly recommend and would easily stay here again!”

“I had to be in the Ellicotville area for work and we found this cute cabin to stay through VRBO. We couldn't have imagined how amazing this cabin would be. The communication with the owners was easy. Both Madeline and Bette were very helpful and polite. The view from the screened in porch into the state forest is so relaxing. The interior of the cabin is beautiful and about as relaxing as the porch. We couldn't decide whether to sit inside or outside. The location is close to town yet far enough……

“Check in process was smooth and host even provides a detailed summary of recommended bars, entertainment, and dining options. Vicinity to downtown strip and Holiday Valley make this a nice options for those traveling to town.”

“Girls weekend trip - the house is beautiful! Very, very clean! Stocked with anything & everything you need. Close to town, about a 10min walk. Corey was wonderful to work with; very kind & always quick to respond. You will not go wrong at this place :)”

“We really enjoyed our stay. Booking and check in were easy, all via the vrbo app. The place was as advertised, clean, and comfy. The WiFi wasn’t working, but a quick message to the owner and we figured out the power strip for the router and modem had come loose, probably during cleaning. Once plugged in everything worked great! The one downside was no snow for skiing, so we went to Niagara Falls. Would book again!”

“Lots of room for everyone. Very clean. Extra utensils and plates. Many pots and pans. The frying pans need to be replaced. Thank you for the extras in the cupboards and beverages on the kitchen counter. It was great for everyone!”

“Our family of 16 spent our Christmas here and it was one of best celebrations. The cabin was perfect, and we had plenty of room to spread out.”

“We had such an amazing time here. The accommodations were so relaxing and comfortable. We played games, watched movies, hiked, fed the fish in the pond, played pool, made s’mores over a bonfire, played with the dogs and even tried to fly a kite unsuccessfully. Then we experienced the eclipse at a local event and had a blast. This is an amazing place to do whatever your heart desires!”
