“I came here by cycling as I wanted to cycle around Ishigaki in 2 days. The location of the hotel is half way along my itinerary so it’s perfect for my purpose. Location easy to find on google map if you know the name in English - it’s Pine Shima Resort Coral Reef. Took me awhile to find this out as my Expedia is giving me the Chinese name. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel - good food and hospitable host. English was limited but no problem with a translator app.”

“A good place to relax. The host Yuko who is a nice person and very polite. The room has a great sea view and a beach outside the pension where can let you appreciate the galaxy. A wealth Japan breakfast also is the highlight of the pension.”

“The communication is quite bad, we didn’t receive the email with the code the we can’t get in the hotel. We call to ask the officer and tried to communicate. No one seems to understand English so we used over 10 minutes to explain and repeat the situation that we are facing. Quite frustrating I’ll said. ”

“My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! ”
