“It was a nice little cabin.”

“This place is beautiful! The quality is impeccable. Amenities abound! Cooking utensils, grill, coffee pot, linens, wireless, all there. We enjoyed ourselves so much! The owners communicated clearly and provided excellent directions, instructions, and contact information. They also had light switches and fab switches labeled which was fantastic and so user friendly. The nest ac worked beautifully. The ONLY negative is they truly need to replace the oversized, for children only bunk beds……

“We had an absolute blast at Piney Knob cabin! The location was perfect. It was secluded and quiet and very peaceful. Even got some fishing done! The cabin was super clean and nice! Easy check in and check out process! We will definitely be returning in the future!”

“This was our second stay in the cabin, because it has all the conveniences and comfortable touches anyone could wish for in a mountain vacation home. From the well stocked kitchen, to the very comfy chairs in the living room, to the dining table with stunning views over the mountains, to the comfortable bed on the main level. “We've been to Rumbling Bald before so no real 'surprises'. This trip we had a massage, played some tennis, rented a pontoon boat and played pool, at Legends. Cons: wifi is spotty everywhere, twisty/winding roads and limited food choices. The patio furniture was a little worn, there were a few crumbs on the floor upon arrival, and the bed was not comfortable (to us) Pros: Victory Cafe, The Lake House. The views are spectacular and Rumbling Bald has something for everyone. The condo is perfect……

“Overall, very nice house and great weekend. Had an electricity issue when we first arrived, but got that resolved within an hour. However, fuse box should not be in a locked closet as our issue was a tripped circuit breaker.”

“Overall the cabin we stayed in was very well built. Great location much more roomy than expected which was nice for two people, nice to have the amenities that it did. Hot tub was definitely great after a day in the Mtn to relax and end the day. Also saw some deer on the property that was a nice encounter. Cleanliness was fair I imagine the cabin had been shut up for awhile there was a lot of dust on the walls especially above the bed and a few dead files on the floor but the rest of the cabin……

“Our extended family of 9 (ranging in age from 8 weeks to 65 years) went to celebrate Christmas and had a wonderful time. The house's views were even better than the listing. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was very close to attractions like ziplining, Chimney Rock, and of course the Lake. The kitchen was well-appointed, and it was especially helpful that the property had a pack and play with a bassinet available so we didn't have to lug ours along. Some things to be aware of……

“First time in about 6 years the family has spent Christmas together and it was great!!! My son brought his girlfriend, who we enjoyed having, and Abbey, his Goldendoodle . Our 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed her visit also with her Mom (our daughter). All enjoyed their stay.”
