“My contracting team stayed twice here once in April and another in May, I booked it for them again because they were fond it it with the space and cleanliness. No complaints, and the feedback from my team this time was that the stereo was replaced and new from the last time they were there and the roof to the tiki bar was replaced so they were happy to see some upgrades. The hosts were gracious with what they called a hybrid late checkout because my guys had to do a nightshift for the store……

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. It was perfect for 4 adults. Plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked with dishes. We would certainly stay here again. The only down side, lots of stairs from the parking lot to our unit on the second floor.”

“Unit smelled of mildew, it would have been nice to list a couple of of places for over night parking. Sink drains slowly and bathroom door loudly squeaks. There was human feces on the hallway floor, first floor this morning morning! Thank you for the nice touches such as earplugs, kitchen amenities and bed mattress. ”

“The rate is a little bit expensive compared the room space ”

“Cute cottage. Walkable to Dog Beach. Excellent hosts and great communication. Several places to drink and eat that are walkable.”

“Host were very friendly & accommodating! The size/location were perfect for the purpose of our trip. Other than the footsteps above us at night & in the morning the stay was perfect!”

“Casita was convenient to Balboa Park, freeways, restaurants and Smart and Final grocery store. Very private and quiet. Walkable, and transit system 1 block away( I did not have a car). I stayed for two weeks in May of 2024. Diane from Northern California”

“House could have been cleaner. There was cobwebs and dust on walls ceilings and fans. Great house otherwise. Lots to do in it including pool table, ping pong and hot tub. Great closed in yard for our dog also!! All in all we would definitely stay here again.👍👍”

“As I entered, i was sold, comfortable looking, felt more like..... yeh this is my home as taking in the rooms . Outback a yard Luna (my Husky puppy ) Regular hotels for me no longer. A piece of tranquility within the city. Definitely let others know. Thanks I'll send more later ”

“Great location in a walkable neighborhood with nearby restaurants, shops, parks, and groceries. Nice deck for gathering with friends / family. Parking was always available on the street right in front. Beds and bedding were comfortable. We had a grand 4 day stay ! One minor glitch when we ran out of toilet paper and dishwasher detergent (someone had cut rolls of paper towels in half to substitute as toilet paper, but we were concerned that might clog plumbing, Similarly we didn't want to use……

“We had an easy entry, and helpful guidance to the property expectations. We plan on going back again. Close to many areas we needed to go to,easy location to and from the airport.”

“Close to Little Italy and to my daughter’s place. So that was nice. Farmers market and all the places to eat at were amazing. Daily runs to the pier. Some real steep hills though toward Balboa. Otherwise great location except for the noise when sitting out in the back but enjoyed watching the aircraft at the airport.”

“My family and I (3 of us) had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. It was very clean, check in was a breeze, and the host was easy to communicate with. The location was fantastic and every morning we walked to a wonderful coffee house for breakfast (Santos). I definitely recommend.”

“Bill and Tiffany were exceptional hosts! I stayed at their apartment attached to a historic mansion in San Diego, and it was an incredible experience. Tiffany arranged discounted zoo tickets for me, and Bill went the extra mile by spending additional time to ensure the hot tub was sparkling clean. The property itself was amazing, located in a great neighborhood. I enjoyed grilling in the backyard every night. Even though it was just me, they treated me like royalty. I wish I could give them ten……
