"At a quiet corner of Hongqiao Airport connected to the train station with a huge mall opposite. 24hours dining, thankfully, because we reached the hotel around 1am and were famished. There is a privte checkin if you're flying Air China. Only drawback is the lights in the room... You either switch everything on or off... Can't switch on just the toilet while the room lights stays off... So it could be a hassle if you're travelling with a partner. I moved the table lamp into the to mitigate this...

If you are attending something at the exhibition centre, this is the closest accomodation and is worth every cent of attending during Winter as you don’t have to go outside at all 🙏 Chinese restaurant onsite has amazing food. "A very nice hotel, newer with comfortable rooms. It has a nice pool that you do not need to pay extra for and the breakfast dining arra is very pleasant. There was a young man in the concierge who was very helpful. The locatuon is ok. It is quiet but there is nothing right outside. However, it is still convenient to get to place in the vicinity. "

"Really enjoyed my stay at Grand Kempinski. Location is convenient yet quiet. Several restaurants, a shopping mall and a subway station are all in walking distance. Staff were professional and friendly. Bellboys were very helpful. Our room has a nice view of the Bund. The only minor thing is that although the bathroom is decently-sized, I couldn't find a good spot for my toiletries. A design flaw I guess. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again next time I come to Shanghai."
