“We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to explore the west side of the island since this was our second time visiting Oahu. As others mentioned, the unit could use some work but it was as described/seen in the photos. The towels had a bit of a smell and some lights need to be replaced but the bed was very comfortable and the views were amazing. My biggest issue was the cleanliness—there were long black hairs everywhere that did not belong to myself or my spouse. Overall I’d still definitely recommend……

“Perfect for our stay. Super comfortable and clean. West Oahu is an interesting area, but Danny‘s home is in a beautiful neighborhood. We absolutely loved that it was not commercial or crowded. Very peaceful. Danny was a spectacular host. Answered all of our questions, provided fantastic recommendations, plus, interesting and fun to talk with and hang out with. “The property was great! Very clean and neat. The house came with all you can need and more. The owners left beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use. They had a great outside patio area for relaxing in the afternoons. Lots of room in the house for everyone to spread out. Very quiet neighborhood and walking around you get to see so many peacocks! The only issues we had were we ran out of hot water frequently. There is a 50 gallon solar water heater and with 8 people in the unit, we ran out……

“The HP is right on the beach - you can't beat it! The condo has a wonderful view. The lanai is perfect for meals and watching the sun set. The kitchen is small (one cook max) but is well stocked with appliances, utensils, cookware, etc. There are many items we appreciated that were in the condo such as a beach tote and cooler. The building amenities are nice, including the pool, parking availability, and security. There is good and fast communication with the owner. There are a couple drawbacks.……

“We loved the stay. It was like visiting an older relative’s house. Outdated but everything in working order. Place was clean, had plates, kitchen supplies, beach chairs stuff for swimming. We found a room at the Hawaiian Princess and couldn’t have been happier. Extraordinary beach and location made this the perfect spot to stay. “This is a beautiful home in a very quite gated neighborhood. If you plan to stay here you need to plan your outings accordingly. It isn't very close to shopping or stores. It is well prepared for an extended stay.”

“My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-stocked property and would love to come back again. The property is a fair drive up the hill from the beaches and took us a bit to find, but once we arrived, it had everything we needed for comfort and more! Clean, spacious property, with all the comforts of home, with relatively close access to groceries and dining. The beach just down the road (Makaha Beach) was the perfect spot for our little ones to enjoy playing in the waves and……

It would be more comfortable if we could have info about why we can not advised how to get in home and its exact locations etc. Eventually, we noticed It is probably for safety reason that is understandable. Just wished to knows it as we travel from abroad and concerned about accidents and wondering why information was limited until the last minutes. All those said, I recommend any one to stay here!! “When we arrived at the security gate we were informed that we didn't meet the condo owners association's occupancy rules. Reason: my wife's name had not been submitted by owner. We weren't allowed on premises until the condo manager was contacted and a temporary approval was given. We had to report to condo office the following morning to fill out extra paperwork, prepay for parking and additional parking security deposit (these fees had to be made in cash not debit or credit card). surprised……

“My husband and I enjoyed three nights here. It was lovely to wake up to the view and see the gorgeous sunset at night. The beach almost seemed private as the coastline is kind of curved and there weren't many people. The tall seating on the lanai is nice. The kitchen is stocked well with items and the appliances are good. Barstools at the kitchen counter add to the general seating options. The bed is comfortable and the space is ok. The bathroom has a shower curtain(there was an earlier review……

“Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 pre-teens) had a great time on the island while staying at this beautiful and safe gated community home, with a beautiful view all around. Check-in was very easy and clear. Loved the home layout and outdoor setting - putting green was a nice touch! Also appreciated the water toys and area outside to wash off sand. A description of where extra bedding and towels would have been great, as well as providing more towels, washcloths and hand towels. We managed to find……

“We loved our stay at Ken's property in Makaha. The unit was lovely, updated and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were great. We loved all the beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, etc). The view from the lanai was gorgeous. We loved seeing all the peacocks roaming the property. The gate and office staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ken made the check in/out process a breeze. We would most definitely stay here again!……
