“Beautiful room with a Temple view. Best and most memorable room experience of our Florida to Nevada cross country trip thus far. Off site registration calls for a sign on site over and above the helpful text message reminder. An explanation that registration is 6 blocks away at another Hotel would be helpful. Loved it though! Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very nice with lots of options. I loved that they had liquid coffee creamer available instead of that powdered stuff. The only issue was that there was no shower curtain in my sons' room. The staff was very friendly, and gave us a toothbrush to use after one of my sons forgot his. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Very kind older gentleman, English was no his native language, but he made up for it in graciousness. On a road that includes an auto wake up call ( sun up traffic) at no extra charge. Very good bargain- would stay there again.”

“This quirky Victorian style property is a great place to stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe & staff were attentive. The continental breakfast was good with a wide selection of self service items on offer. You do need to be aware that the trains ‘toot’ as they go past and some are quite long but the hotel does supply ear plugs & using them I wasn’t bothered by the noise. All in all more of an old fashioned, individual stay rather than a corporate experience. I loved it! ”

“They were great!!! Wonderful stay. For those going to visit Nauvoo, I would strongly recommend staying here. It’s a pretty drive about 20 minutes along the Mississippi. Hilton should be proud of this hotel. ”

“The young gentleman at the front desk was so friendly. The cleanliness was average, but we just used the space to sleep. So it was fine. Breakfast was a nice selection. Other staff were friendly as well. ”

“Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. We went to dinner & came back to a clean room. We really didn't like the shower, the curtain sticks to your body no matter……

“Perfect location for our visit; one block from the Nauvoo Temple. The apartment is well stocked and the four bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for a large group. Parking is right on the street and so easy, steps from the front door. We ate at the lower level restaurant for multiple meals and it was great quality and price. The apartment is quiet and cozy and everything you would want for stopping in this small town. ”
