“Just as I had hoped”

“As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.”

“We had a great stay with our daughter and her dog. Great apartment with a view of the sea, leisurely walk into Rothesay.”

“I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.”

“The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. ”

“The place itself was very nice, the area, location, neighbourhood were great, super. Everything would have been amazing if there had been a normal level of clining, but that was quite poor.”

“We stayed for 2 nights. The photos dont do ths property justice, its absolutely beautiful. Rooms are big and comfy and Gordon has thought of everything. Weather was terrible so we spent time in the comfy kitchen and lounge watching the sea. Very peaceful but so close to everythimg you could need, shops, take aways etc We will definitely be back, the sooner the better. Shame Gordon cant guarantee the weather but he can guarantee you a lovely stay”

“We had a great first visit to the Cowel Peninsula! Arthur’s Seat was as described with wonderful views! Osborne’s down the road is our new favorite! It was great to meet the owner too!”

“Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was bigger the we thought it would be. Lovely and clean with lots of outside space. Nice big new tv (we could get the dvd to work, need a different lead) but that was find as the weather was lovely so dint watch too much tv.”

“Enjoyed our visit to the Castle Sween as well as the Kilmory Chapel. The loop from Talbert to Killberry Castle was stunning. We had an excellent meal in Tayvallich (the mussels were huge) last night there would most definitely visit this area again”

“We all immediately felt relaxed upon walking through the door. The place just has a cozy feel. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to decompress and just hang out. You must go to Puck's Glen though, which will be more than enough exercise for your stay.”

“I live 10 minutes from this property and would book over and over in a heartbeat.A fantastic place to spend with family of all ages and if you have dogs,youve won a watch.Absolutely everything was there that we needed.Super sized bedrooms with one of the most comfiest superking sized beds in the master..We celebrated my sons 18th birthday and the pool table alone was the main attraction for him and his brothers.We had a lovely sunday dinner with all the trimmings at the massive dining table……

“Stayed in room 1 for a business trip. Really nice and helpful staff. It looks like it is slowly being modernised as it is an old building but facilities are good with a great location. Definitely want to return in future for leisure with my partner. ”
