"I stayed here with my family of 5 and this house was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 3 kids: 11-17 in age). The property is a nice 15 minute walk to the main strip of Kings Beach and about a 10 minute walk from Safeway. The house itself was clean and we enjoyed the log cabin feel of the interior. "This place was cold because the thermostats don’t truly work so much but my room had a heater and that was fine. The place is big for multiple parties and the pool table is so tiny. It’s great for skiing because it’s so close to northstar. Liked the place a lot."

"The cottage is cute, clean and comfy. We had everything we needed to cook and relax after a day of hiking in the Tahoe National Forest. The Kings Beach area is a great location for enjoying the scenery without the crowds and traffic of the south shore. Check in and communications were excellent. A very pleasant stay."

"My parents, dog and I had a great time at your cabin. It’s a very beautiful place to stay, lots of birds, squirells, chipmunks that my dog had fun barking at and chasing daily. The beds are pretty good and comfortable. The area itself is peaceful and the row of trees by the road just made it perfect for a morning walk. it’s a short distance to the lake and restaurants. The only caveat is that my dog met the mice on our first night. It didn’t bother or show itself again. Overall, it was good!"

"Debbie is an amazing host! We were planning a ski weekend with a group of friends, but were discouraged when we saw that a blizzard was predicted during our stay. Debbie was so responsive and understanding as we tried to figure out if it would be safe to go. "Perfect for a couple or small group. The bed is a new King size bed with memory foam, I have a bad back so I appreciate having a new good mattress. This is a very nice condo right next to the hiking trails into the mountains. The 2nd floor has a nice kitchen and living room and there is a bedroom with 2 smaller beds and a full 2nd bathroom on the 3rd floor. Very clean and comfortable and well maintained; we would stay there again if it is available next time around"

"Loved the house and location. It was exactly what we needed, comfortable, ideal location for us and in very quiet neighborhood. Also, great communication with rental company. The only negatives are that the bathroom is downstairs for those that make trips in the night and there is a faint animal smell in the house for sensitive noses. We had to adjust our travel due to a bad storm and Natural Retreats (NR) was not at all flexible on the 5pm check-in or 10am check out. The road and driveway were not plowed and there was as a significant amount of snow (~ 2 feet) left on the back deck and stairs with only a small path shoveled to the hot tub. .
