"Small room and somewhat dated decor; the shower was poor. I did have thecsmallest and cheapest room. However, a really comfortable bed and crisp bedding. The staff were fantastic, proper old school attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked for you. My son is a student and lives in Edinburgh, I asked if he could join me for breakfast. Not only did they say yes, they said there was no charge - how nice is that? I used this as a scouting visit to see if I will come...
