"This is a great house for a crowd with open, welcoming kitchen/living room with a view in an amazing isolated spot overlooking a beach along the NC500. Sheep in the front and the waterfall a wee walk in the back. Good spot for a family or a big group of friends (lots of twin beds, and nearly all rooms have private bath) with amazing facilities to feed a big group (two dishwashers, two fridges, good pots, pans etc). "Beautiful location, sunrises & views were breathtaking. Lucky enough to watch a dolphin & calf playing in the bay one day as well as lots of sea birds including the Gannets diving for their catch. Could be absolutely perfect but was slightly let down by cleanliness of the property & no double bed in any of the bedrooms. Despite that would definitely recommend & would stay again if holidaying in the area."

Excellent hotel and food
"Excellent hotel and food in very rural hamlet on mountain road. Food is preordered for the evening if having meal . Beware hotel is on a mountain road with very very narrow width just width of car with blind corners and drops. Make sure come up from Lochinver not the other end or else you wish you hadnt if meet the motor caravans with no where to pull over. You be lucky to get out of 2nd gear. Dont attempt to drive this road if not a confident driver or novice. Be warned !! Barriers appear to be optional. On plus note highly recommend hotel and food. A short few minutes walk will bring you to a spectacular view point. "
