“We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.”

“The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. Our family had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. Pura Vida.”

“Beautiful part of the world and wonderful accommodation. Great pool and outdoor space, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and really nice to have a bathroom in each. Kitchen well equipped with big outdoor eating area. Really close walk to several delicious restaurants. Great stay!”

“This was such a nice stay. The home was great and very well built and stocked with all you need. it was so nice to sit outside, enjoy the pool and the lush surroundings. The care taker came and showed us the local sloth and we had a nice walk around the property. There are 2 other rentals but they are all very well separated. You opulent tell anyone else was around and each back yard:pool area was very private. We lived out time there.”

“We had a group of 10 people traveling to La Fortuna in late April. This property is the absolute best of both worlds. The house has one master suite with a spacious bath on the top floor with views of the Arenal volcano on a clear day. The second floor has three bedrooms with a shared bath. The main floor is spacious and opens up to an outside porch which is perfect for sitting and enjoying the monkeys, toucans and butterflies. The outside casita is an extra space which was perfect for our large……

“Beautiful view that you can't get enough of! Overall we have very few complaints of the property. I would recommend you take the road around through Monterrey and La Fortuna versus up through the mountains. The two restaurants close by are amazing. Overall we loved our stay”

“We had a great stay at the property. Nice neighborhood and good views. A fun pool and great dining room table. Could have used more kitchen items when cooking for a large group like measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisk, spatula, serving plates or bowls. Also a surprise on day one - the oven didn’t work. Also would have really appreciated being able to use the laundry machines that are on-site but not available for guests to use. Overall we had a wonderful stay!”

“We were amazed at the sounds and sights while staying here! So many birds, monkeys and even an otter came to visit the pond! It was fun playing in the pool and the rain! Not too far from La Fortuna and small convenience shops at the end of the road. The kitchen isn’t really suitable for cooking for a family and isn’t very well equipped so probably best to eat out or make snacks only. The AC worked well and we enjoyed our stay here! Would recommend 😊👍”
