"This was a lovely little hut to stay in for a few nights. One double bed and then a pull out sofa bed. We didn't try the sofa bed, but the double was comfortable. The shower was great, and the towels provided were more than adequate. I didnt find the hair dryer until we were ready to leave. Its in a box under the bed. "The cottage was in a very scenic and peaceful setting which suited us. We used the cottage as a base for some local walks and other walks further afield. We discovered that the cottage was about 10 miles from the nearest main road and it took about 30 to 40 minutes of driving on a single track road to get to the main road. The nearest grocery stores were in Lochinver. There was quite a lot of traffic on the single track road,with people visiting the lovely beaches at Auchmelvich and Clactoll....

"I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future."
