"A very nice stay. Communication with the host was great. We kept bothering her with questions and she responded quickly. The place is really beautiful. We lit a fire each night and played some of the provided games and watched Netflix. It's an easy drive to Great Barrington to get groceries at the Berkshire coop. We also took advantage of our surroundings and hikes on the AT a little each day. Next time we'll use the host's canoe to explore Lake Buel. The only minor complaint I would have is the bed. We're used to a king at home so sleeping was a little tough. And, it's creaky. But it was very comfortable. Just smaller than we're used to. I highly recommend this VRBO. We'll be back!"

"This rustic property is in a wonderful location along a wooded dirt road, with a deck literally overlooking the water. The sunroom with the dining table and futon is the best part of the house! The view will definitely bring the blood pressure down. The owner was great to work with and very responsive. The kitchen is well stocked with items needed for meal prep, but keep in mind there is no dishwasher. The water toys were all in great shape and easily set into the water from the dock or steps (once the dock is removed for the winter). The outdoor shower is *heaven* and there is plenty of outdoor seating for a larger group. There is even a retractable fence at the steps of the deck to keep little ones (or pets) safely on the deck. The bedroom configuration is a bit unexpected, in keeping with the multigenerational aspect of the house. The two white wall bedrooms have their own bathrooms (one is full and one is half). The third (full) bathroom is in a tiny hall between the king room and the wood paneled queen room and is the only one with a tub. The bathrooms are small but functional, and I mention their locations as it may help others decide if this house works for them or not. Finally, be aware that there are neighbors on each side of the house, but during our stay none were present so we enjoyed the quiet."

"Everything you could want for a nice quiet stay. The apt is very roomy and well appointed. Small kitchen with all you need. Messages to the owner were answered promptly. The grounds are incredibly beautiful. No reason not to stay here."

"Million dollar view, outdoor spaces, and large comfortable home. Highly recommend. Quirky things worth noting - none of which lowered our 5 star ratings. Not supplied - spices, condiments, oils etc for cooking. Laundry soap. Bath soap. Room air conditioning units are excellent, but master suite has no window to the outside otherwise. Hosts were available and welcoming."
