“This was my choice for watching the 2024 total eclipse. Even with cloudy skies it was a really enjoyable day. If ever I want to spend more time at the Lake Ontario beaches this is where I would stay.”

“Property was as advertised. Other than a very minor issue with access on arrival, the stay was great. While the weather was blustery and cold, the house remained very warm and cozy.”

“This is a lovely home in a great location however this host inflated their rental rate by fraudulently listing the property with these very important ENTIRELY FALSE amenities and features including: 1. There is no hot tub! 2. These is no jetted bathtub! 3. There is no outdoor grill! 4. The master balcony - shown as accessible and usable with furniture on it has been permanently locked and there is no furniture. 5. This property was rented to us as an “ENTIRE HOUSE” according to VRBO however……

“Cozy, clean and well located, short walk to Charlotte Lake Ontario Park. Great area for dog walking with views of lake. Rental was on second floor. Windows on three sides made it very bright. Small but layout and furnishing were attractive and well thought out. Generous sized kitchen. Helpful but unobtrusive host. I'm looking forward to staying again.”

“We were pleased to find that the house was well represented in the photos. The rooms are huge, and the views of the lake are amazing. The house is old but in good shape, cozy, and perfect for our family gathering. Our daughters and our grandchildren joined us and there was plenty of space and everyone enjoyed it. Beds were comfortable and we provided our own sheets and towels. We appreciated having use of the 2 kayaks and 2 bikes. The on-site staff was very helpful whenever we had questions.……

“IT is a lovely small home, the two bedrooms are upstairs which means there is no privacy for the 5th blow-up bed. Also, the noise carries easily from downstairs to upstairs, but all in all it is a lovely house in an excellent area. ”

“Our group of 3 couples thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this house. The view of the lake is magnificent and the lake is literally right there. The house was super clean and well stocked without any clutter. It was a delightful time and I hope to return. No problems whatsoever.”

“We went to visit family and thought, from the pictures that this was right on the river but the house is actually across the street. There's another smaller home on this property. There was no other renter so it was still fun but I don't know how it would be if someone else was in that home. Pros- The house was big and the ability to spend time together was wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked and they even left us a surprise. The bathrooms were also well stocked and the full bathroom was……

“So our son gave this trip to his dad for Christmas. They planned a stay and fishing on Lake Ontario. They absolutely loved the place. The views were incredible! The communication with the owner was awesome.”

The sun room was great for morning coffee, looking over the river and watching all of the different birds coming through. The canoe was a wonderful treat to take out and enjoy nature. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, with quick access to Rochester.”
