“Beautiful private suite!!”

“Cozy Upper Room was perfect! The location was wonderful, the accommodations were superb, and the town of Black Mountain was so enjoyable! We really enjoyed eating our meals on the deck, especially our morning coffee. The birds were so vocal in the mornings! And the tub was such a luxury!! We also loved meeting Ottie and Taz, the dogs! What sweethearts!! Also, don't miss out on the local farmers market on Saturday mornings! What a treat, and it's only 3 blocks away! Cozy Upper Room is a fantastic……

“Overall good experience. Location is secluded and close to popular trailheads. I had to fix plumbing issues with the toilet handle and the dishwasher, which isn’t fun and the host hasn’t responded to my message about the dishwasher. They say you don’t need to strip the sheets from the bed….I did, but don’t. Ignorance is bliss when comes to mattress stains. I would consider staying here again because of the location and the hot tub. ”

The good: - It was clean, fresh, and newly renovated. - We didn't cook while we were there but the kitchen seemed adequately supplied with dishes, etc. - The location is only a few minutes from downtown Black Mountain, but the neighborhood itself does not lend itself to walking. “We cannot say enough about this incredible property! Spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything one would need for a cozy vacation in the mountains. The owners have put such thought and care into this hidden treasure and it showed: from the fully stocked coffee station, to the fun array of puzzles and board games for both adults and kids, from the fuzzy blankets by the couch, to the complimentary marshmallow skewers and hiking sticks for outdoor adventures.……

“This was a nice place for getting away and unwinding. Like everything in the Smoky Mountains, the route there is windy and curvy. But it’s a quiet small neighborhood once you arrive.”

“We loved the loft apartment. It was centrally located downtown, convenient to all the shops and restaurants. The loft was very roomy with an open floor plan. The living room and bedroom were very large with lots of light. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The shower was great; the kitchen had ample room and needed utensils; however, take note, there was no microwave. We had a little trouble getting into the main door; the electronic keypad was a bit wonky, but someone came to help us……
