They were at the house when we arrived and gave us the history and a full tour of the house (a converted church!). Katie was always available to answer questions and we were very impressed at the amenities offered including some delicious homemade cookies, coffee/espresso maker and they welcomed us to use much of the refrigerator contents. “The decor of the property was very retro. We stepped back into the 1970’s, which was cool. I’ve stayed at VRBO properties that tried to do period-specific before, but went all in, in ways that detracted from the experience. But this property wasn’t like that. The TV was “smart”, which guests have come to expect. The beds were also comfortable, which is a must. It was a fun stay.”

“Beautiful historical property with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely place! My brother and I stayed just one night after a local family wedding. The bedrooms were both spacious and bedding comfortable. We enjoyed morning coffee in the living room. There is also a full dining room available. Hosts communicated mostly via text and were very friendly and personable. ”

“This met all my expectations and more! We had a wedding to attend at the Rustic Venue, and were looking for a space to share with family & friends. A large kitchen was a must have, and this was just perfect. Huge fully stocked kitchen with a massive island, plenty of indoor seating, tons of outdoor space, a garage space with ping pong and other games, huge televisions with Dish in every common space. It checked off all the boxes. The neighbor's cows even came to visit!! We had a great time.……

“Location is great, close to everything we wanted to do. House was clean and as described. Bathrooms are like a jack in jill style, one toilet off common area and other off master bed room which lead to a shared tub/shower. We really liked this with details noting only one full bath. Use of the garage was nice also. Neighbor was very quiet. We also tripped on the rug under the dining room table many times. Thank you, we had a great stay”

“This house is close to downtown Springfield, has nice rooms, and the kitchen, dining, and living spaces were open (allowed for conversations between rooms while preparing meals). Overall, a solid rental for my needs!”
