“My husband and I stayed here as a weekend escape from Guangzhou, China. It was a breath of fresh air! The driver was arranged to pick us up from the airport and the process was seamless. He was hospital and very accommodating. The room was so clean and comfortable and the food at the property was to die for! We did the Full Day excursion with the elephants and everything was perfect! The value for the money spent as guest from the Western World was impressive. The elephant wake-up call was so……

“Sook and 3Pok Resort is a good way to unplug from the world! Sook and his team are very down to earth and treats their guests as family members. They make sure you’re taken care of and always having a good time. He’s very laid back and happy to chat away about what to do around the resort. Transportation from the airport to the resort can be arranged by contacting Sook. Just note that this service has additional fee due to the distance of the resort from the airport (~1h drive up the mountain).……

“This beautiful sanctuary truly is magical! If you think you're going to have any western luxuries, please reduce your expectations! This is a rural eco lodge. We stayed in the mountain cabins and we didn't have hot water, so we made due with coldish water. That really was the only inconvenience. Food was amazing! From the staff to the elephant handlers, it was sooooo great! Being able to see the elephants walk around and feed them and watch their personalities shine, really was magical. As for……

“The property is beautiful. Room was nice but dark with only 2 windows. Staff very pleasant. Expedia site incorrect on services. No made to order breakfast. The 1st 2 days was a buffet and I am vegan so I had toast, fruit and coffee then had plain rice or french fries for dinner. No tour services or info. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, dogs barking and roosters crowing all times of day. The close proximity to mae klang waterfall made for a nice walk and great place to have lunch along……

“Nice stay, but a bit prices according to What you Will get elsewhere in Thailand. It is a lovely place in natural sorroundings. We loved that. You need a car to get anywhere. Also note that it is outside town, and no cars/buses run to town, however there is a few food stalls near the mainroad where you can get food. Close to the national park of Doi inthanon, but still outside the check point. ”
