“Comfortable studio apartment above the main residence is located in a typical, residential neighborhood about a fifteen minute walk to the beach. There are no amenities within walking distance. The adorable little town of Haleiwa is a fifteen minute drive and is full of tourist amenities. The four large dogs on the property do bark during the nights and early morning hours but not continuously. The “orchard” is a dozen trees that do bear some fruit despite being neglected. “This house was perfect for our blended group of adults and kids. The first morning I took my nephews snorkeling we saw sea turtles and they were so excited and a couple days later my niece found a stingray. Watching the sunsets every night while drinking a beer taking a heated outdoor shower was amazing! The kitchen was a great size for our big group for meals. The back covered patio was where we spent a lot of our family time relaxing and hanging out.”

“The website on this property is accurate. The ocean view and sounds of the surf in the winter are what makes this property quite desirable, although please know that the waters are not conducive to swimming in the winter (true for most of the North Shore of Oahu). However, given the premium price charged we were very disappointed with the poor maintenance and supplies. Some of the screens were torn and the screen door to the lanai does not work properly. The dials on the stove are worn off. None……

“Great location on the north shore. Not totally private as you are sharing the duplex with the owners. Would be nicer to have it to yourself for the price, but the house is very nice and clean and the owners are very friendly.”

The location is wonderful, beautiful beach out front, bike path, walking distance to snorkeling at Sharks cove and market, short walk or drive to nearby surf spots. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay and owners onsite and very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!”

“Our group of 6 adults and 6 small children had the most amazing week here! We loved how easily we could access other parts of the island from this location. The house was set up perfectly for our group. Being so close to the food trucks was amazing. The communication with the host was excellent. This was our first time to Hawaii for many in our group, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. We will be back!”

“Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 pre-teens) had a great time on the island while staying at this beautiful and safe gated community home, with a beautiful view all around. Check-in was very easy and clear. Loved the home layout and outdoor setting - putting green was a nice touch! Also appreciated the water toys and area outside to wash off sand. A description of where extra bedding and towels would have been great, as well as providing more towels, washcloths and hand towels. We managed to find……

“We stayed at this property in a different unit 5 years ago. We love the water facing patio/deck and simi private beach. Very quiet. They provide everything you could need for beach and water fun. We did bring our own binoculars and were glad we did. Would have liked shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower.”

“We enjoyed our stay. We wanted to explore the west side of the island since this was our second time visiting Oahu. As others mentioned, the unit could use some work but it was as described/seen in the photos. The towels had a bit of a smell and some lights need to be replaced but the bed was very comfortable and the views were amazing. My biggest issue was the cleanliness—there were long black hairs everywhere that did not belong to myself or my spouse. Overall I’d still definitely recommend……
